Oven Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Parmesan Cheese
Ingredients
2 lbs brussels sprouts
1 tbsp MSG free blend seasoning I use this
pinch of salt
pinch of ground pepper
1 lemon
4 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
Preheat oven to 450 F on roast
Wash brussels sprouts and drain using paper towel
Cut in halves removing the brown-ish bottom part
Cut lemon in half
Juice half of lemon. Set aside the other half and cut it into 4 pieces
In a bowl, mix together brussels sprouts and the rest of ingredients
Line seasoned brussels sprouts on a cookie sheet and top with lemon quarters
Roast 35 mins checking every 10 minutes
Crank up to broil setting for another 5 mins
Top with grated parmesan cheese
Line in a cookie sheet
Notes
Serve immediately to enjoy crispness
For Paleo and Vegan option, omit parmesan cheese when cooking.
