Hi! My name is Emma and this blog is my little corner of the internet where I post delicious low carb recipes and food photos. I’m a foodie, wife and dog mom. I moved from Denver, Colorado to Texas with my awesome husband Brad and our dog Coco Banana our personal clown because who likes snow? 🙂 I was born and raised in Philippines so if you have an appreciation for healthy, salty, greasy or spicy food this is the blog for you.

For the first few years of marriage my husband constantly put on a few extra pounds month after month and then one day something changed. We both realized we wanted a healthier lifestyle and amazing bodies so we decided to change our diet.

We cut out sugar, grains and artificial everything. We started eating Paleo and it was a great starting place to develop a healthier lifestyle. Soon I realized how much I love cheese so we transitioned to Primal diet. I started creating simple delicious treats like Tropical Salad, Atomic Chai, and the Perfect Peanut Butter Smoothie. Lowering our carbs worked but I didn’t have that radical before and after photo to show off. I started hearing about ketosis and the Ketogenic diet so we transitioned again.
